3. XAT 2026: Compulsory Exams for XLRI Admission
Xavier Aptitude Test is the Admission Test for admission to MBA/PGDM programs in XLRI and other top MBA colleges like XIMB, IMT Ghaziabad, IMI New Delhi, TAPMI Manipal, GIM Goa and 150 other top MBA colleges in India. XLRI Jamshedpur and Delhi do not accept any other test score except XAT.
Salient Points about the XAT Exam are:
- A computer-based test conducted at more than 70 test cities
- For XAT 2025, the exam duration is reduced to three hours from earlier three hours thirty minutes
- The exam is divided into two parts & four sections of Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning; Decision Making; Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation; General Knowledge
- Part two which had General Knowledge and Analytical Essay Writing (AEW) sections will have only GK section in XAT 2025 and AEW will not figure in the exam.
- Part two does not count for percentile score calculation
- No Individual time limit to attempt the sections

9. MAT 2025
Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is one of the most popular National level MBA entrance exams in India. MAT is conducted four times in a year in February, May, August and December. More than 200 MBA/PGDM Colleges are accepting MAT Scores for Admission 2025. MAT is an easier exam than CAT or XAT exams. Total duration of MAT exam is 2 hours (120 mins).

11. MBA Entrance Exams by Universities & MBA Colleges
IBSAT 2025: MBA Entrance Exam for ICFAI University MBA Colleges
IBSAT is MBA entrance test for admission in 9 ICFAI Business Schools (IBS) located across India. IBSAT Entrance Exam 2025 dates are December 27-28, 2025. The exam is conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education. IBSAT score is accepted for admission by ICFAI Business Schools (IBS) located at Hyderabad, Dehradun, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune.
MICAT - MICA Admission Test
Conducted by MICA Ahmedabad for all the applicants who apply for MICA admission, MICAT is the mandatory entrance exam for admission to MICA PGDM-C and PGDM programs. MICAT is MICA’s own PGDM entrance test for admission 2026. MICA conducts two MICAT exams MICAT 1 and MICAT II. If you are planning for admission to MICA Ahmedabad PGDM-C or PGDM 2026-28 batch, you need to apply and appear in MICAT, apart from taking CAT 2025 or XAT 2026. MICAT Registration process is expected to open from September 15, 2025.

XGMT - XIM University MBA Admission Test
XGMT is the own admission test for XIM University MBA admission 2025 in its constituent MBA colleges. XIM University conducts XGMT. If you have not taken CAT/XAT/NMAT or GMAT, the XGMT is the only option to become eligible for MBA admission in XIMB and other management institutes of XIM University Bhubaneswar.
Amrita Common Aptitude Test (ACAT)
Amrita Common Aptitude Test (ACAT) 2025 is an important National wide MBA entrance exam for MBA admission 2025 in any of five Business Schools of Amrita University Amaravati, Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru, Coimbatore, and Kochi. ACAT 2025 Exam dates are March 15 & 16, 2025. The exam is conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidya Peetham as computer-based test. Last date of ACAT 2025 Registration is February 28, 2025. ACAT Exam 2025 duration is two and half hours and the exam consists of 100 questions divided in 4 sections: Verbal Reasoning and Language Comprehension; Data Interpretation and Analysis; General Knowledge on Indian & Global Scenarios; Quantitative Aptitude with 25 questions in each section.
12. International MBA Entrance Exams – GMAT and GRE
GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a required exam for admission to international business schools in US and Europe. Many Indian B-schools also accepted GMAT for MBA admissions in India. However, GMAT is an expensive exam. The GMAT registration fee in India is $275 for the in-person test and $300 for the online test. GRE is another popular entrance exam for admission into international business schools in US and Europe.
